Well seeing as how I can't seem to edit out the HUGEEEEE spaces that keep popping up with my post I am just going to have to live with them so Very sorry that you have to deal with scrolling down forever till you get to the next post.

Ok This Valentines I pretty much just used real red CS and Whisper White.

Coloed in with pencil crayons then used the blender pen,I used Crystle effects to cover the umbrella and them added stickles to the hearts.I used hand died buttons that I had bought a while ago they just happend to be in the shape of a heart. And again I added gingham ribbon to add a bit of country to my card. So if any of you have suggestions for this blog of any of my cards please let me know...suggestions are the gifts of a artistic mind!!!!!

I really like Valentines day,and even more so the old Victorian type cards. I this old stamp set that I cought off of my upline from SU. And since I had not really played with it much,it was wayyy past time.

The CS that I used is Pretty in Pink,Blush BLossom,Whisper White.
The Ink used was,StazOn black,Pretty in Pink,Blush Blossom,Creamy Caremel.I stipled the 3 ink colors all over the WW CS,and I also used a sponge to sponge on caremel on the edges.I used brads from Queen and Co.and through on some ribbon. The image has been colored with SU's pencil crayons(watercolor) and then I used a blender pen to blend the colors, the image is also put on the CS with demensionals. I used Crystle effects on the bike and shoes of both the boy and the girl. And last but not least I added some little tiny heart gems on the ribbon and hearts.

This card has no pattern or anything I just stamped.

I used the FRENCH FLAIR background stamp them added some of the CARTE POSTALE stamps to it. I colored the flower part with markers to get the different colors all at once rather than masking.I used MENY MERRY MESSAGES from the Big Catty. I used CRANBERRY CRISP for the middle,HUNTER GREEN for the Card and I used SHIMMERY WHITE for the front(which is really pretty in real life)I went crazy with the ribbon and added silver organdy with burgandy then I added SU new colored brads these are in real red.I am not to sure if I like this card or not its very different and not somthing I normally would do. I normally have a reason for what I do with this there is none.

This is from our Big Catalog in the Flower section, I really did not have to meny flowers set so I figured I had better invest and get some and this is the one that caught my eye.Its called PETAL PRINTS, its a 2step stamp which I really love. I layerd the flowers without masking to try and make it look like they had been planted or picked all together. I used LAVENDER ink for the lavender flower, sunshine yellow for the daisy's and Ballet Blue for the hmmmm not to sure what those flowers are. I also added some CRYSTLE EFFECTS for demension and to make it look like they just been taken from the garden with morning dew on them. The CS i used for this one is Close to COCO,Mellow Moss,Naturals White. I added a Mellow Moss Ginham Ribbon and tied it in the middle.I used SU's Distressing tool(cutter kit) for the edges of the Mellow moss. On the Naturals white CS I tore all around it and them sponges Lavender Ink around the edges.

SO far I am having fun with this set and I just might be getting some more flower sets.

Here is another card useing the new sets this one is BUTTERFLY OF HAPPINESS AND WATERCOLOR VINE wheel(the wheel is in the big catty)

I wheeled the vine on and them stamped the images I wanted I also used VELLUM to emboss Irridecent Ice with the dragonfly and curled the wings a bit and put it on with a glue dot. I added the light blue organdy ribbon under the first layer. The colors I used are LAVENDER LACE and BALLET BLUE for the CS and for the INK i kept the colors almost the same except for the darker one and the vine those are OLD OLIVE and ELEGANT EGGPLANT.

The sayings that this set has are meaningful and true they will touch anybodies heart.

new stamp set ..totally FRENCH

My Mother was french so this set is close to my heart and reminds me alot of the things she loved in life before she passed away so this is for sure one set I will be keeping forever.

This is a Background stamp that Stampin Up has just come out with in their new WINTER MINI catty. Its called FRENCH FLAIR.I also used a stamp from the CARTE POSTALE I wanted tp keep the colors fairly simple as to add a bit of elagance I added a bit of Irridecent Ice embossing to only a few of the swirls(very hard to see one here), Also I used a bit of cream colored grosgrain ribbon under the small square which has been put on with demsionals. This set is so versitile you can use it with the birds or without you can color the swirls with markers or just use only some of the swirls I love how soft this set is and the elegance behind it and the fact it reminds me of my mom.

I absolutly LOVE our new Stamps in our WINTER MINI CATALOG FROM STAMPIN UP!

They are some of the most beautiful stamps I have ever seen.

This is a combinations of 2 sets that are from the new catty one is called BUTTERFYL OF HAPPINESS,the other one is calledCARTE POSYALE and I also used the watercolor vine wheel that Stampin up carries.

The papers that I used are MELLOW MOSS,LAVANDER LACE,SHIMMERY WHITE CS.I also added some VELUM on the top layer which I stamped the saying in Black Stazon. The Brads are from Stampin as well.I used a speckeld background on the lavander CSas well as sponging it just a bit on the edges with a close to coco ink.All of the c0lors match the paper under the Vellm.

Ok this is a BOOK BUDDY!!!!!

I loved how these look and they would make an awesome gift for any reading guru(like me...*G*) these are the instructions that IBIRUS(Lynn) gave to me and they are some of the best instructions I have ever seen....if you follow what she said you WILL NOT make any mistakes..*S*

" The "book buddy", as I call it (it needed a catchy name) is really easy. I saw it at a stamp camp. It's an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock cut the long way so you have two pieces 4 1/4 x 11. Fold it in half first then fold each corner back to the fold again to make and accordian. The first page was just a quote, the second page is a removable book mark, I used a folded piece of cardstock so I could do a glitter window. The third fold is a place to keep post-it's and the last fold is a loop for a pen. Under the bow are two eyelets that form holes for the ribbon. Then a ribbon wraps around the whole thing. "(this is what Lynn sent to me)

Now I didn't add ribbon around the whole thing since I am a ribbonaholic I thought I had better get away from the ribbon a bit before my kids decide to get me nothing but ribbon for christmas...*LOL*...so I added VELCRO where I needed it to stay closed...*S* I also added a little pencil rather than a pen because well I just saw it sitting there and thought to use it..

Have fun with this one and I would love to hear your thoughts on it..*S*

This is the front of my BookBuddy...I will upload the open picture and write the instructions and who gave me the instructions...*S*

Rainy Days

Another stipled card..I love stampin up's blues they are so beautiful so I thought this one should be all blue since most people seem to get all blueish durning rainy times....well..when your sitting in the middle of -15 any rain would be more than welcome because if its raining that means its warm...*L*
Along with stippling I also added some dazzling Diamonds to only the blue flowers on the umbrella's, The other flowers have been colored in with Stampin Ups Singlo Gel Pen.

I really needed to come out of my comfort zone and do something new, something that I do not normally do.
SOOOO...I came up with this...*S*
I took some pretty in pink and some close to coco and used my stipple brush and stippled it as a background onto very vanilla CS. Then i took those same colors and also chocolait chit and stamped some hearts from the "Love It" hostess set from Stampin Up,cut them out and added them,I also had a key charm laying around so I added that with some hemp twine. I had some left over little hearts so I added those to the saying at the bottum of the card. And Voila...*S*

This is one of the cuttest sets again from Stampin Up! Its called FlakyFriends this set is so cute and tons of fun to play with.

I use craft and cranberry CS I cut out the mittens on a string and the bigger mit with the saying for the saying i used a punch. (everything or just about everything I use is from Stampin Up) I used pencil crayons to color in the snowmen and then used a blender pen to make it look more unified. I added buttons at the top to make it look like the mittens are hangin from them. I had fun making this card its alot of cutting and coloring but very relaxing.

Who says snowflakes all have to be white or blue...*G*...I really enjoy making Christmas Cards with a NONtraditional feel to them...I am passionate about Christmas anyway so i am sure that helps.

This is just Whisper White CS from Stampin Up and Real Red ink and Scarlet Fibers all from Stampin Up. Turned out pretty good..*S*

I love love love Hedgies...My kids and I look after a cute little guy on weekends and holidays from the local Jr.High School and he is the sweetest little guy. Herbie is so curious and funny and when I found out that Stampin Up used to have Hedgehog sets I had to find them and wow have I been playing with them.

I put Crystle effects on the candy cane and the bow of the little girl I also added stickles to all the greenery this has all been put on watercolor paper from Stampin Up which I also love.

I saw this pretty little girl at Micheals and fell in love with her but I just couldn't convince myself to pay what they where asking so oneday I was peeking into ebay and saw her there and just had to have her and I am soooo glad I did.

I love Faires and the ledgends that go with them. This Fairies name is the "Lavander Faire. I added stickles and crystle effects to her and around her but it does not seem to show up here it really looks pretty IRL.
